Support for smart work of medical staff such as 'Lemon Care Plus' and favorable reviews for the introduction of services that increase patient satisfaction
Lemon Healthcare (CEO Hong Byung-jin), a two-way healthcare data platform company, announced on the 3rd that it participated in the 2023 Korean Medical Information Society Spring Conference held at Keimyung University Dongsan Hospital for three days from June 28 to 30 and held an exhibition of smart hospital app solutions for medical staff and presentation of on-site cases.
Hosted by the Korean Medical Information Society, the conference was held under the theme of "Change and Innovation in the Smart Healthcare Field." Medical institutions and ICT leaders participated in an in-depth discussion for a better digital medical environment by sharing the current status of implementing a big data-based medical system and industry solutions and technologies to advance medical IT in line with the smartization of the healthcare sector.
In this regard, Lemon Healthcare has set up a booth at the event to display "Lemon Care Plus" that enhances medical staff's work convenience with △ mobile EMR and round management for medical staff △ point of care (POC) △ medical support POC functions, and "Cheongui Shin," an ultra-simple claim app for real-life insurance. Experiential kiosks were installed to intuitively demonstrate each service and received great response from hospital officials.
In addition, on the 30th, the third day of the event, a symposium on "COVID-19 Time Capsule Archive and Digital Health" presented in detail the "Lemon Care Plus" function being used in the actual medical field. In particular, the mobile EMR function for medical staff of "Lemon Care Plus" drew attention in that it increases the work efficiency of medical staff by allowing clear patient information to be checked anytime, anywhere.
This allows medical staff to easily check the patient's list, such as outpatient, hospitalization, emergency, and surgery, and check personal information, status information, and medical information at a glance, enabling rapid and accurate diagnosis as well as providing high-quality medical services.
In addition, through the mobile round management function, the scheduled time for rounds can be notified by SMS in advance, and if face-to-face rounds are difficult, it is possible to remotely check through a non-face-to-face round system, increasing patient satisfaction. In addition, functions subdivided for each essential task such as consultation history inquiry, round memo, cross-check of medication and blood transfusion information, vital signs check, and nursing handover are available.
The simple login method and authentication system have also attracted attention. "Lemon Care Plus" can increase accessibility through various login methods such as general passwords, fingerprints, patterns, and PIN, while applying authentication methods such as Kakao identity authentication, OTP, and SMS as a secondary authentication method if it is not connected through the internal network or VPN network.
Earlier, at the exhibition and presentation of the 2023 Korean Hospital Information Association Spring Academic Seminar held in mid-June, the innovative function of "Lemon Care Plus" was highly evaluated by hospital officials.
Currently, "Lemon Care Plus" is being operated in partnership with more than 30 senior hospitals and general hospitals, including Severance Hospital, Chung-Ang University Hospital, Chonbuk National University Hospital, Soonchunhyang University Hospital, and Eulji Hospital, and is gradually expanding to more than 130 senior hospitals and general hospitals nationwide that use Lemon Healthcare's app platform for patients.
A company official said, "To foster the digital healthcare industry based on big data, not only the government, but also the medical community and industry-academia research are paying attention," adding, "In the rapidly changing medical environment, we will focus our capabilities on upgrading related technologies to increase the work efficiency of hospital medical staff and increase patient satisfaction."
