Lemon Healthcare (CEO Hong Byung-jin) announced on the 1st that it participated in the "Big Square Union Data Networking" event held at the K Hotel in Yangjae from the 31st of last month and presented the topic of "Building Infectious Disease Big Data."
Under the supervision of the Big Square Union, the event was designed to understand the data characteristics of big data centers in their own fields and to secure opportunities to discover convergence ideas through intensive exchanges. The Big Square Union is a platform association involving a total of five fields: △ environment (Korea Water Resources Corporation), △ transportation (Korea Transportation Research Institute), △ agricultural food (Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation), △ forest (Korea Forestry Promotion Agency), △ coastal (Korea Institute of Ocean Science and Technology).
Lemon Healthcare introduced a step-by-step and annual roadmap, including the construction of a big data center in the field of infectious diseases using the smart hospital platform "Lemon Care" and "Cheongui Shin," a simple billing app for real-life insurance that does not require documents, to advance technology and strengthen profit models.
In addition, Lemon Healthcare explained the 'Lemon Platform'. This is a smart healthcare data platform that connects both data providers and users to distribute data like a highway to revitalize the healthcare data economy. It emphasized that analysis according to specific diseases or diagnoses based on big data is possible through open API (Application Programming Interface) of healthcare data and business models based on blockchain technology, which are key technologies. Field networking and business consultation sessions were also conducted for interested companies and institutions.
An official from Lemon Healthcare said, "As social and economic changes caused by infectious diseases such as the COVID-19 pandemic have increased, the need for systematic collection and management of big data related to infectious diseases has increased. In particular, the establishment of a big data platform center in the field of infectious diseases is contributing greatly to the creation of a medical data economy."
Meanwhile, Lemon Healthcare has been participating as a big data center since December last year in the "Big Data Platform and Center Construction Project in the Infectious Disease Field." Based on the insurance claim history data relayed to insurance companies by the company's loss insurance simple claim app "Billing Body" on the big data platform in the infectious disease field, it has provided medical history, medical fee receipts, medical items, medical fee details, diagnosis details, prescription information, and insurance claim information. Data accumulated through big data platforms in the field of infectious diseases are being used to manage infectious disease predictions by public institutions and to discover infectious disease-based business models such as insurance companies and pharmaceutical companies.
